As an OT Application Consultant at Vetropack, you will play a key role in owning and shaping our Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) across all Vetropack factories. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role in a digitized, highly automated environment where you’ll work with all departments and data sources, ensuring strong integration, continuous improvement, and seamless operation of our core systems. Key responsibilities:
- Drive optimization and continuous improvement of OT applications across all our factories as part of our Digital Factory team
- Analyse complex operational processes for better system usability and business alignment
- Coordinate upgrades and integration of OT systems
- Lead smaller OT application projects from planning to implementation
- Deliver technical support and problem resolution across production sites
- Collaborate with plant teams, IT Business Partners, and the Senior OT Consultant
- Develop training materials and technical documentation
- Conduct end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions

What we are looking for:
- Mindset over experience: You may be fresh out of university, or have a few years behind you – what matters most is that you’re dynamic, proactive, outspoken, and eager to learn and grow
- Strong analytical thinking, creativity, and excellent communication skills
- Willingness to take initiative and operate autonomously
- Interest in technology, systems, and continuous improvement – we’ll teach you the rest
- Ability to navigate multiple stakeholders and collaborate internationally
- Microsoft M365 knowledge is a must
- Strong English skills (C1 level); proficiency in additional languages, particularly German, is an advantage
- A university degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred, however, candidates with strong relevant experience will also be considered, even without a formal degree
- Knowledge of technologies and systems such as Siemens PCS7, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), and Fieldbus systems is a definite advantage
- Familiarity with digital manufacturing platforms (e.g., Siemens MindSphere/Xcelerator) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is considered an advantage
- Willingness to travel up to 10%, depending on business needs
