Plant Manager (m/f)

- monitor daily biomass cogeneration plant operations ensuring that all relevant protocols and procedures are followed  - perform and/or organize necessary maintenance procedures to ensure the smooth and uninterrupted operations of the production plant  - supervise and monitor the work performance of plant operators and subcontractors including adherence of protocols, completion of assigned duties by deadlines, and quality of work done  - maintain records of power plant inventory (wood logs, woodchips, sawdust, oils, chemicals, spare parts etc.)  - maintain records of technical documentation  - organization of shift work  - manage team tasks and follow up on it - preparation of reports  - assist in project management and participation in projects, i.e. coordination of the same on the basis of assigned tasks in accordance with their own knowledge and abilities  - monitoring the organizational, timing and financial plans of the construction site  - manage the operation of power plant, heating system and installation for preparation and woodchip drying during the shift, and if necessary, out of it  - monitor all the indicators of the work of the power plant, dryer and hot water system so that all the plants and installations work smoothly  - identify the causes of operational malfunction in the field of mechanical engineering, propose and implement the correct activities  - conduct procedures for preventive inspection and maintenance of Employer’s plants in the area of their competence in order to ensure normal operation of the plant  - analyse trends of production and consumption of heating energy, identify, propose and conduct improvement activities  - carry out repairs and conduct other maintenance procedures in Employer’s plant in the area of its competence  - monitor and control the work of external contractors on plants owned by Employer, indicate flaws, and report their performance to the Employer’s responsible persons  - receive wood material, check the quality of thereof, measure moisture parameters, weight and other according to needs  - organize biomass storage   - keep the necessary shift logs and reports updated  - cooperate with colleagues within the firm-Employer or associated company in everyday business and proactively contribute to the improvement of work conditions and quality of Employer’s work  - keep informed about business trends, international practice, sectoral trends in country and abroad, to contribute to modernization of employer’s business operation and innovative proposals as part of working on Employer’s projects   - cooperate and coordinate work with external Employer’s associates and other experts who are directly involved in Employer’s project  - follow the instructions for occupational safety 

- at least 2 years of work experience in similar jobs (advantage for candidates with experience in working with power plants) - strong leadership skills, experience in team management - university degree in mechanical or electrical engineering will be considered as benefit while evaluating candidates - organizational skills and ability to make independent decisions - independence in work, perseverance and commitment to achieving set goals - driving license B category - active knowledge of English
