We are now looking for an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to join our team in Rugvica, Croatia.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert help to employer, authorized personnel and EHS commissioners to implement and improve EHS at work
- Follow legislative and corporate rules regarding health, environment and safety and ensure their application in business
- Internal surveillance of EHS application
- Compile and analyze EHS data
- Cooperate with government bodies in charge of work inspection, Croatian institute for health protection and work safety, Institute for work protection enhancement, authorized personnel, work medicine specialist, Croatian toxicology institute, Environment protection agency…
- Train workers, employers, and authorized personnel for working safely
- Involvement in Kaizen/Continuous improvement
- Other EHS tasks needed by the employer
- EHS Supervision on IMS Projects in EMEA
- Preparation of EHS documentation for IMS projects

Potrebno obrazovanje, znanja i vještine
Education:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in safety engineering, EHS specialization, or high education in technical field
- Passed expert-state exam for EHS specialist
Requirements:
- 1 – 3 years of experience working as a EHS specialist in manufacturing or construction
- Great computer skills
- Experience with construction project is an asset
- EHS legislative and laws knowledge
- High sense of work responsibility
- Punctuality and being systematic
- Reliability and promptness
- Ability to work alone
- Ability to work in a team
- Communication skills
- Focusing on details, being analytic and energetic
- High conscientiousness and discipline
- Presentation skills
