Integration & Database Specialist — RIS Support (m/f)

You will work closely with our Delivery and Support teams to maintain and improve integrations between our RIS and external systems. The role includes manipulating and analyzing data in SQL databases, developing and troubleshooting HL7 and REST-based interfaces, using Postman to test and validate APIs, and creating data reports for internal and client needs.

Key responsibilities: - Support Helpdesk and Delivery teams with database-related tasks (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, stored procedures, triggers) - Work on integrations — parsing, troubleshooting, testing message flows (HL7, ...) - Develop, test, and maintain REST API connections and data exchange scripts - Use Postman for API testing, debugging, and documentation - Produce and maintain reports and dashboards (Power BI or similar) - Write automation scripts for data handling and integration testing (PowerShell, Python) - Monitor and document data exchanges to ensure reliability and traceability - Support system updates, migrations, and interface deployments Required skills & experience: - Strong SQL skills (queries, stored procedures, triggers, indexes) - Understanding of RESTful APIs (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE; JSON/XML payloads) - Experience using Postman for API testing and debugging - Experience with at least one BI/reporting tool (Power BI preferred) - Scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, or similar) Nice to have: - Familiarity with integration engines or message brokers (e.g. Mirth Connect or similar) - Experience working with HL7 v2.x messages (understanding segments, MSH, PID, OBR, OBX, etc.) - Good English communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
