Media Planner is responsible for the planning process across media channels and should have in-depth understanding of the planning and buying process. The candidate should have at least one year experience in a similar role within the media agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works with the team on day-to-day, ensuring tasks are completed on time
- Assists and oversees all media administrative tasks including campaign setup, maintenance and issues accurate client financial reports with a high degree of accuracy
- Reserves the broadcast space or time after the campaign plan has been agreed with the client
- Monitors the effectiveness of the campaign, constantly and permanently adjusting it to provide the best results
- Establishes and maintains contacts with media owners and sales/traffic teams from suppliers, ensuring that statistics, rate cards and viewing figures are up to date
- Takes into account in planning the appropriate moments of media activities, seasonality and other variables specifically based on usage patterns
- Corrects and checks the content of plans and orders before launching the campaign
- Evaluates the effectiveness of the campaign
