Role overview & accountability:
Paradox is looking for an experienced, self-driven and committed individual to join our team in Zagreb as Finance Manager and oversee financial operations of the company.
As Finance Manager at our company, you will be responsible for monitoring company’s budget working closely with management to develop and implement strategies and plans to achieve company’s long-term objectives.
Finance Manager will also handle the preparation of relevant financial reports using in-depth analytical skills to ensure the management has insight into the financial health of the organization for improved decision-making.
The role of the Finance Manager will also be to work with other department heads to ensure that all financial activities are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals. The incumbent will also be responsible for managing and developing the Finance team to ensure optimization of the processes.
The Finance Manager acts as an important member of our senior management team in Zagreb, and reports directly to the Group Chief Finance Officer located in Athens, Greece.

Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the organization
- Leading and managing monthly reporting and forecasting processes, and annual budgeting process
- Collecting, reviewing and interpreting financial data
- Offering innovative alternatives and recommendations to optimize cost-efficiency and enhance financial performance
- Evaluating product costing in collaboration with the COO and Production Manager
- Conducting product pricing assessments in collaboration with the Group CFO
- Collaborating with cross-functional departments
- Collaborating closely with the outsourced accounting team to ensure accounting and tax compliance and conducting monthly review of GL postings
- Coordinating the annual audit processes and facilitating the preparation of financial statements
- Preparing weekly payment proposals and executing payments through e-banking platforms
- Providing support for monthly payroll activities and advising on payment modalities considering the taxation requirements, working closely with the HR Manager
- Assisting in logistics management, including the preparation of necessary import and export documentation
- Monthly Intrastat reporting
- Engaging in communication with Tax Authorities, banks, and other financial institutions to ensure compliance and efficient financial dealings
- Managing, overseeing and monitoring travel requirements and associated costs
- Coaching, mentoring and leading junior team members
