Data Engineer - mid (m/f)

Key Responsibilities Business & Client Collaboration: - Gathering and analyzing business requirements from client stakeholders, translating them into scalable data solutions - Communicating directly with end users — proposing solutions, explaining trade-offs, and managing expectations - Anticipating potential issues across the data stack and proactively developing resolutions Data Architecture & Engineering: - Designing and implementing data warehouse and data lake architectures tailored to client needs - Building, optimizing, and testing ETL/ELT pipelines and data flows - Modeling and optimizing relational and analytical databases BI Delivery: - Developing BI reports, dashboards, and analytical layers for clients - Ability to work independently in a client-facing role and translate business needs into technical solutions

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in BI/DWH consulting or development - Solid knowledge of relational databases and dimensional data modeling (star schema, snowflake, data vault) - Strong SQL skills — T-SQL and/or PL-SQL - Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines with tools such as SSIS or Informatica - Proficiency in BI reporting tools — Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, or similar - Ability to work independently in a client-facing role and translate business needs into technical solutions - Fluent English - written and spoken Preferred Qualifications - Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related STEM field (PMF, FER, FOI, FESB, or equivalent) - Experience with the full MS BI Stack (SSMS, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS) - Hands-on work with Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, PostgreSQL
