Accountant (m/f)

We are now looking for an Accountant to join our team and help us make a meaningful impact on healthcare. As part of our Finance team, you will: - Manage incoming invoices within the accounting system, ensuring adherence to approval workflows - Oversee accurate billing and ensure timely issuance of invoices - Verify weekly cash requirements and process payments - Check and record employee expenses to maintain accurate records - Reconcile vendor balances and general ledger entries to ensure accuracy - Stay on top of Croatian tax laws and accounting standards, ensuring compliance in all financial operations - Handle essential administrative tasks for the Finance department - Prepare and submit monthly VAT forms - Assist with month-end closing entries to finalize financial data - Maintain the fixed assets register and manage depreciation postings - Prepare reports for Statistics and the Croatian National Bank, ensuring timely submissions - Collaborate with the Finance Manager on financial analysis and reporting - Work closely with auditors, relevant institutions, and the Group on various projects Seniority level: Mid-Senior level. What We’re Looking For: - 3-5 years of proven accounting experience, demonstrating your expertise in managing financial processes - A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Strong understanding of Croatian accounting standards and tax regulations - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities - High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks - Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines - Effective communicator in both written and verbal formats - Fluency in Croatian and English - Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software
