What you'll do? As a team player, your responsibilities include:
Designing HVAC Systems for Modular Solutions
Lead the design and development of mechanical HVAC systems for medium to high-complexity modular infrastructure projects. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation including cooling load calculations, ventilation and pressure control analyses, CFD studies, noise calculations, and layout drawings.
Ensuring Compliance and Technical Excellence
Incorporate European and international standards as well as Vertiv internal design practices into every solution. Ensure compliance with safety, efficiency, and sustainability requirements while maintaining a high standard of technical documentation.
Project Coordination and Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration
Participate in project kickoff meetings, client and internal coordination sessions, and ensure HVAC systems are well-integrated with electrical, structural, and architectural designs. Support project delivery by guiding junior thermal engineers and coordinating activities with the broader engineering team.
Approving and Reviewing Design Documentation
Review subcontractor workshop documentation, verify technical submissions, and approve supplier proposals. Specify HVAC materials and systems, ensure required certifications, and support procurement during the bidding phase.
Supporting Execution and Site Implementation
Provide technical assistance during production, installation, and commissioning phases. Collaborate closely with manufacturing, site managers, quality control, and commissioning engineers to ensure successful project execution and system performance.
