AI/ML Engineer (m/f)

What will you do: - Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code - Design and develop backend services using Nest.js and/or Python-based frameworks - Build and deploy applications that integrate LLMs and LangChain - Prototype and fine-tune machine learning models based on project needs - Use AWS to deploy and scale backend services and databases - Work on diverse, AI-driven projects across industries (e.g., NLP, data processing, document automation) - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust features - Contribute to process automation, tooling, and infrastructure improvements - Stay up to date with the latest in AI/LLM advancements

What are we looking for: - Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript - Experience in backend development, especially building APIs and scalable services - Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face Transformers) - Familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch - Understanding of probability, statistics, and machine learning algorithms - Very good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g.,PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) - Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS, also Azure or GCP) - Knowledge of cloud-native development, serverless functions, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD - (Nice to Have) Experience with computer vision tasks or multimodal models - Familiarity with the full web stack, including RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and performance optimization - Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills - Excellent collaboration and communication abilities - Solid understanding of OOP principles - Detail-oriented and quality-focused - Excellent written and spoken English - Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a relevant field - Eligibility to work in Croatia Please Note: Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
