Your mission as a Waiter or Waitress at LIOQA Resort is to ensure customer satisfaction by providing top-class service and creating a memorable dining experience for our guests. You will be an essential part of our team, delivering exceptional service, fostering a positive atmosphere, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Job Description:
- Guest Reception and Seating: Courteously greet customers and promptly escort them to their seats, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Communication: Act as the point of contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff, effectively communicating food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities such as food allergies
- Service and Maintenance: Replenish water, deliver coffee, clear tables throughout the dining experience using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware, and silverware. Clean tables, chairs, and floor area, reset tables quickly, and polish silverware and fold linen
- Dining Room Readiness: Check the overall condition of the dining room, ensuring its readiness for customers and maintaining a clean and inviting environment
- Support and Collaboration: Assist the service team as necessary to meet or exceed guest expectations, log book and reservations must be read at the beginning of each shift
- Knowledge and Promotion: Acquire a working knowledge of hotel, in-house facilities, and local information to respond to customer questions and promote all other services the hotel provides
- Guest Satisfaction: Handle guest complaints or requests professionally, promptly, and effectively, ensuring concerns are addressed to their satisfaction. Inform the supervisor/manager of any customer dissatisfaction
- Genuine Hospitality: Provide the "Yes I Can!" experience through genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations. Give personal attention, take personal responsibility, and use teamwork when providing guest service. Listen, apologize with empathy, find a solution, and follow through when resolving guest problems
- Company Policies: Adhere to hotel policies and procedures, attend work on time and as scheduled, follow grooming, hygiene, and dress standards, minimize safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures, refrain from personal conversations with other employees at the main entrance, fill out timesheet on the completion of each shift and have the supervisor co-sign. Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate. During religious festivals, be flexible and work harmoniously with others to cover operations. Project a favorable image of the brand to the public at all times
