System Administrator (m/f)

We are looking for a responsible and diligent system administrator to manage computer systems and networks within our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring that computer systems and networks are running smoothly, securely and efficiently on a daily basis. Both server and client environments are mostly Microsoft-based (with a few Linux-based systems exceptions). Responsibilities: - Maintain, configure, and ensure reliable operation of servers, virtualization systems, network, backup systems and other business critical systems - Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes - Troubleshoot hardware and software errors and perform repairs or upgrades as necessary - Maintain internal infrastructure requirements, including computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones and other segments of the current IT setup - Provide documentation and technical specifications for planning and implementing new or upgraded versions of the existing IT infrastructure - Ensure systems are secure and protected from unauthorized access by implementing and maintaining security measures such as firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls - Maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure critical data can be restored in the event of system failure or other catastrophic situations - Work with the internal support team and help end-users with their system administration related requests if needed - Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure systems are integrated and functioning effectively

Overall: - BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration or a closely related field, or equivalent working experience required - Advanced English language skills (C1 user) - Good verbal and written communication skills - Team player - Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge Technical skills: - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Windows and Windows Servers , Hyper-V, AD, Exchange Server, DPM - Advanced knowledge of DHCP and DNS services - Experience working with network equipment (routers, switches, access points) and networks in general - Experience with SVN or Git servers administration - Experience with scripting and automation tools (Powershell, Python, …) - Experience with server hardware Preferred skills: - Experience with Fortigate / Fortimail systems - Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SharePoint and SQL servers administration - Experience with Certification Authority (and certificates administration in general) - Experience with Linux-based operating systems - IT certificates
