Structural Engineer (m/f)

Your main duties: - Develop global and local FEA models from engineering drawings - Prepare load cases and perform global/local strength analysis - Perform global and local buckling calculations for stiffened and unstiffened plates/panels using DNV/ABS codes - Write technical reports summarizing the analysis results and conclusions in accordance with department work instructions and procedures - Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with applicable codes and standards, procedures - Liaise with vendors, vessel/ rig owner representative, classification society surveyors and other relevant authorities to resolve technical issues as and when required - Manage assigned work to meet project objectives - Work proactively with team members to ensure goals are met and problems resolved - Responsible for scopes of work and effectively manage delivery and changes - Travel internationally and to fabrication yards/offshore installations, as needed

Your qualifications and skills: - Master’s degree in electrical, mechanical engineering / naval architecture - Previous 3-5 years’ experience within an equivalent or similar role - Good understanding of ABS, DNV, API, and related industry regulations, standards and international design codes - Knowledge of project management and technical processes - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Systematic, accurate and analytical approach to solutions - Ability to mentor, work in a team and independently - Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English - Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks) and Finite Element Software - Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications - Previous experience within the offshore industry is an advantage - Willingness to take business trips
