What would be your responsibilities
- Design audio-visual systems using AutoCAD and MS Suite
- Define and approve the scope of work for systems proposals that need review
- Determine which items are needed within an audio-visual design to accomplish the purposes as described by clients and/or salespeople
- Secure technical components for project material lists such as cabling lengths, interfaces and switching devices, fixed audio components, podium technical design for correct size and functionality to hold various components, lens requirements for accurate throw distances, all programming hardware for control systems and any other related technical components which require the advice of a designer's perspective
- Give purchasing recommendations for products in the project so that a schedule can be established
- Design video, audio, and cable run schematics
- Make sure all tests and required certification procedures are verified

Desirable, but not mandatory Education & Experience
- 2+ years of related work experience
- Understanding or experience with AutoCAD & MS Suite
- AV experience is a strong asset
- Client management experience
- At least a bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
- Industry certification such as CTS is a strong asset
- Knowing English is required
