Sales Support Specialist (m/f)

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Sales Support Specialist for its Zagreb, Croatia location. This role is responsible for supporting local sales organization and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions for our high voltage products, transformers and power quality products, and prepare technical descriptions of the applied products and technology to support the proposal process. Conduct asset management to determine suitable solutions. Prepare and present technical and commercial presentation to staff and customers. Your responsibilities: - Administrates, consults and/or negotiates product/service contracts with customers that are consistent with business objectives - Prepares/supports preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, Local Business Unit indications and Sales organization directives. - Analyzes customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by the Sales organization - Creates added value for the customer and HITACHI ENERGY and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Communicates details in accordance with HITACHI ENERGY offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions). - Defines the most suitable technology and product type(s) to be used based on application characteristics. Defines the configuration in accordance with bid commercial needs and requested quality metrics - Ensures the needed technical support to sales team during technical meeting with customers - Supports sales in negotiations with customer on technical, contractual, and commercial content of the proposal - Promotes and grows sales for PGHV and PGTR products portfolio - Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promotes customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and aligns to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process. - Conducts business with safety and integrity

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (electrical) or recognized equivalent - Minimum of 2+ years in sales experience in preferred sectors (Electrical, Industrial, Utilities). - SAP and Salesforce Experience are a plus - Reading and understanding engineering drawings are a plus - Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools - Excellent knowledge of Croatian and English language - Driving license - Time management, co-ordination, accuracy, attention to detail and performing in a pressure environment are necessary - A collaborative, proactive and solutions-oriented approach - Devotion to personal development and readiness for continuous improvement - Strong communication skills and team spirit
