Financial director / CFO (m/f)

The Financial Director / CFO will firstly be responsible for setting up accounting processes, procedures, and policies for newly launched entities. Financial director / CFO will be broadly accountable for the administrative and financial operations of companies in the Group comprised of three sister companies (d.o.o.) including identifying and tracking relevant KPIs, risks from aspect of financial operations and liquidity to assure smooth and efficient functioning of companies. The CFO will oversee and drive ongoing development and monitoring of control systems to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a full- or part-time financial director or CFO as well as background in accounting in financial services, brokerage, or investment advisory industry. - Define and setup processes (accounting, finance, treasury) - Develop adequate policies and procedures for smooth and efficient process implementation and management - Assure adherence to developed policies and procedures - Oversee all accounting and finance operations - Identify and establish relationships, where necessary, with banks for the purpose of managing business operations as well as client funds in accordance with regulatory and technical requirements - Manage Billing, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition - Participating in the creation of technology development focusing on accounting requirements and controls - Monitoring daily business activities as they relate to liquidity in various accounts including margin accounts and manage liquidity requirements - Identify accounting and finance process related issues and suggest timely solutions - Support month-end and year-end close process - Manage quality control over financial transactions and reporting - Manage planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes - Produce financial statements as requested - Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting - Manage and comply with internal and external reporting requirements - Manage preparation and administration of tax filings - Updating and maintaining financial records and filing systems - Tracking and monitoring of financial transactions - Reviewing financial records, documents, and information to ensure their accuracy - Performing account reconciliations and audits - Compiling financial spreadsheets, reports, statements, and other documents, as needed - Ensure all documents are properly signed and distributed - Report the status of accounts and discrepancies - Provide support to customer service - Assist in the onboarding process for new hires as well as identify resource needs - Research technical accounting issues for compliance - Support other functions such as customer support, IT and operations to assure fast problem detection and/or resolution - Support company Management in development and implementation of new products and services - Communicate and provide relevant information to internal and external stakeholders - Perform complex analyses on product/service/customer segment/channel basis - Assure smooth and correct recording and reflection of transactions across various Group member systems

The perfect candidate will have education background in accounting, finance, or economics, up to six years of experience in big 4 accounting firms and four to six years of experience in accounting and finance operations progressively from entry level to mid to top management level (C-1 level).
