Finance Business Partner (m/f)

Affidea Croatia is looking for a Finance Business Partner (m/f) to be part of their team in Zagreb. In the role you will perform the following task: Accounting: - Supervises and gives instructions external accounting services - Delivers management reporting - Assures proper local GAAP + IFRS bookings - Reviews monthly management accounts submissions and in particular the variance analysis and liaise with partners where items are not clear Budgeting & planning: - Manage the budgeting and planning - Provides the data and reports to the planning and forecasting processes - Analyses and provides feedback on submissions to the business plan and forecast - Runs, analyses and updates scenarios for the above activities M&A: - Provides M&A support – designing the business plan for acquisition & green fields - Delivers modelling for the recommended targets Treasury: - Manages monitoring & payments - Assures financing for local needs with both local sources and cooperation with the corporate Business Focus: - Consolidates monthly variance analysis to understand and challenge the core drivers of the costs - Identifies improvements and savings based on effectiveness - Delivers improvements / savings based on effectiveness - Works in direct contact with the corporate finance

What we are looking for: - University/College degree in Economics - Minimum 5 years of experience in similar functions - Strong MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Power Point) - Fluent English - Team player - Open minded - Strong communication skills - Quick learner - Strong business focus
