What you'll do? As a team player, your responsibilities include:
- Develop Project Designs for Controls Systems: Design critical monitoring and controls systems tailored for modular data center solutions. Develop controls riser diagrams, PI&D’s, I/O lists, sequence of operation descriptions, design ethernet network architectures, technical specifications for field sensors and actuators, ethernet network equipment, DDC and PLC controllers, BMS and SCADA software systems, define redundant automation components
- Work according to the highest international standards: Adhere to international, national, and company standards while integrating good engineering practices into the project designs
- Coordinating and Communicating: Lead controls system design and technical specification for critical controls and monitoring systems, participate in meetings with the clients, consultants, suppliers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate controls designs with mechanical, architectural, structural, electrical and IT systems
- Bring datacenters to life!: contribute to our high skilled testing team at factory testing and witness full power of our solutions
- Approving and Verifying Documentation: Review and approve technical controls and monitoring system documentation from subcontractors and provide technical approval for supplier offers. Ensure controls and monitoring system selection as per intended design and international, national, and company standards
- Supporting and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and expertise during production, construction, assembly, testing and commissioning. Lead automation controls system testing and commissioning and collaborate with Vertiv factory testing team and site commissioning team to resolve issues and ensure Vertiv quality and expertise
- Meet the world: Be a part of client design development reviews and ensure design coordination, compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations all around the globe
