Opis posla

Position description: - Develop FPGA firmware and software for a new generation of photon-counting arrays - Develop PCBs hosting photon-counting arrays - Verify firmware and software - Perform characterization of photon-counting arrays - Procure components and assembly services - Perform assembly of photon counting arrays

Potrebno obrazovanje, znanja i vještine

Qualifications: - M.Sc. or Ph.D. in electronics engineering or related field - Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English Required skills : - Ability to execute multiple tasks efficiently and independently - Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work well in a team - Advanced knowledge and experience in C++, VHDL and Altium Designer - Knowledge and experience in designing FPGA firmware in VHDL/Verilog with tight timing constraints - Experience with test and measurement requirements - Experience in using data analysis software like MATLAB or similar - Knowledge in statistics (Poisson and exponential distributions) - Familiarity with semiconductor technology is a plus - Familiarity with required testing to validate their semiconductor chips is a plus
