Graphic Designer (m/f)

We are looking for a Graphic Designer (m/f) who actively supports us in our daily business with exciting digital projects at our branch office in Rijeka, Croatia. As a Graphic Designer at M2BC, you will play a significant role in maintaining the company’s cohesive and vibrant brand while creating customized graphics that communicate complex topics related to our services. You will have the opportunity to influence and evolve our brand while pushing it forward visually and stylistically, and to bring strong creative thinking and problem solving every day together with our consultants. Your day-to-day tasks will be to conceptualize designs/campaigns and implement them. You’ll grow your skill sets and portfolio, as you will work closely with your colleagues on various marketing material and provide technical feedback and execution from a design perspective. You are an expert in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and have a passion for Adobe Creative Suite. Challenges excite you and you’re resourceful and proactive about solving them. Your responsibilities: - As a graphic designer in a team, you will provide design expertise and consulting to internal team members. Projects may include branded collateral including swag, pitch decks, and business collateral. - Research, plan, develop, and implement graphic design and technical illustration for a variety of deliverables, including printed and digital documentation. - Participate in the planning, layout, design, web-design and preparation of artwork for inclusion in technical manuals, reports, product brochures, displays and presentations. - Create and supplement guidelines for company’s brand and sub-brands – book of graphic standards. - Develop online graphics – e.g. banners for website and online marketing (such as Google Display), marketing emails, and possibly marketing landing pages. - Design social media posts, campaigns, and other online advertisements as needed. - Design custom icons and illustrations and prepare them for various usage. - Find appropriate images for various topics, also edit and optimize them for placement. - Work closely with team leaders to meet deadlines, ask relevant questions and propose design specifications. - Perform ad hoc requests to support internal and external company needs. - Establish and maintain effective working relations with project managers and other colleagues. - Follow task specifications, proofread, and verify that digital files are accurate before going to the next stage, on-time with 100% accuracy. - Serve as a graphic advisor if needed in brainstorming sessions and on teams both within and outside the company.

About you: - Relevant professional experience, minimally 3 years - Graduate with a Graphic Design degree or equivalent or higher - Passion for visual storytelling and creating thumb-stopping content - Fast and accurate computer skills with a strong grasp of Adobe CC (Important: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) - Experience in creating unique illustrations for various topics, within a chosen style - Advanced understanding of typography, grid, layout, and colour - Deep comprehension of aesthetic trends and how to capitalize on them - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects - Strong and professional communication & task management skills - Upbeat and enthusiastic with an authentic “can do” attitude - Able to provide and receive good critics, with a constructive approach towards a common goal - Understanding of Figma (willingness to learn) - Understanding of UI/UX design (willingness to learn) - Good English knowledge (written and spoken) - Not required but bonus points: proficiency in video editing and video graphics We look forward to welcoming you soon on board as a part of our team.
