ICT System Engineer (m/f)

As a System Engineer – Network Specialist, you will work in an interdisciplinary team of professionals at the interface of ICT and the water and energy industries. You will be responsible for the development, design, and implementation of network and server solutions specifically tailored to the needs and requirements of the water and energy industries. Main Tasks: - Designing, realizing, and integrating highly specialized network and server solutions - Analyzing, troubleshooting, and optimizing existing network and server infrastructures, taking into account the specific requirements of the water and energy industries - Providing technical consulting and training to project execution teams in network technologies - Ensuring network security and implementing the latest security technologies - Providing 2nd level support and technical expertise for network issues Secondary Tasks: - Occasional field assignments in the DACH region - Maintenance and troubleshooting of networks and process control systems - Assisting in the creation and rollout of standards

- Basic education in computer science or an equivalent technical education - Advanced training in system engineering or network technology - Several years of professional experience in system engineering and networking, including further training - Teamwork, solution-oriented thinking, and service orientation - Excellent knowledge of Microsoft platforms, virtualization, and IT security solutions - In-depth knowledge of Active Directory is an advantage - Willingness to Travel: up to 10% (national and international) Language Skills: - Excellent English skills in both spoken and written form - German skills - minimum requirement B1
