Software Developer / Data Scientist (m/f)

We are looking for support of our growing R&D team, specifically we are looking for a Software Developer / Data Scientist (m/f) for the development of prototypes and commercial software solutions for the interfacing to and fusion of data from electricity distribution grids, starting in Fall 2020.

For this challenging and creative task embedded in the dynamic environment of a startup company, we look for the following skills: - Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or electrical engineering - Experience in Software development (Java) - Good English skills, basic German skills an advantage - Good communication skills - Independent and self-driven Experience in one or several of the following topics is an advantage: - Interfacing with sensors - Web interfaces (HTTP REST, WebSocket, Publish/Subscribe) - User interfaces and implementation (JavaScript) - GIS, Databases and data modelling - Numerical methods and their implementation using Java libraries - Data analytics and machine learning We are looking forward to your application and to working together on the digital distribution grids in Europe.
