We are looking to expand our Croatian team with mid-level or senior front-end software engineers to help architect, develop, and maintain the customer facing part of Pixotope.
As a software engineer at The Future Group you will be working in a fast moving environment with dedicated colleagues. At The Future Group we strive to empower our employees to work together to solve problems following our shared best practices and standards. You will be working closely with our team in Croatia and our senior team in Oslo. The business we are in requires us to solve problems quickly and we rely on our developers to make smart decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Implement front-end for Pixotope
- Collaborate closely with team members and other stakeholders to deliver high quality code which meets requirements
- Work closely with the product design team to create functional and beautiful applications
- Work in a continuous delivery agile environment
- Contribute to a positive, supportive team, and company culture
- Keep up to date on cutting edge technologies
- Ensure code is delivered with exceptional test coverage
Potrebno obrazovanje, znanja i vještine
Key requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent in training and experience
- Deep understanding and excellent skills in JavaScript (ES2015+), HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience with at least one of the following modern web front-end technologies: React, Redux, NodeJS
- Experience developing and working with REST APIs
- Ability to debug code, solve problems, and test
- Ability to fluently communicate and write documentation in English
Nice to have:
- Experience with some of the following front-end tools: Electron, Electron-Webpack
- Source control with git
- Experience with game engines: Unreal Engine 4, Unity 3D
- Experience in TV broadcast industry
- Enjoyment in contributing to all parts of the platform
- Team oriented approach
