Test and Validation Engineer (m/f)

Position objectives: Test and validate Enea Qosmos Division products covering the following: - C library APIs - Network appliance - Accuracy of the packet classification and information extraction Essential functions: - Testing/Validating of DPI products - Documentation - Maintenance/development of testing tools - Testing Infrastructure ( platform) management Contacts & Supervisory responsibilities: You are working in an Agile Team on product related backlogs. The team is mostly based in Paris. The team manager facilitates work in the team. The backlog is prioritized tighter with our Product Owner. The team manager supervises your evolution and supports your development.

Qualifications: - College graduated in Computer Science, Telecommunications or equivalent - Minimum 2 yrs of framework/software development or validation experience Required key skills: - Very good network skills (IP, TCP / UDP protocols, and applications above these transport protocols) - Knowledge about Debug and Monitoring Tools - Knowledge about File Systems - Shell, Python, Bash, Makefiles - Knowledge about test automation - Able to work under linux environments - Able to speak and write English fluently - C language debugging - Able to work in remote with most of the Team and Manager in Paris Great to have: - Experience with kernel development - Experience with embedded operating systems - Experience with OS primitives (low level) - Autonomy - Good communication, good reporting - Rigor, tenacity, ability to isolate and diagnose complex problems Not to worry though, we don’t expect you to know all that at the same time in depth.
