Head of Operations and Finance (m/f)

PBZ Invest is looking for the Head of Operations and Finance (m/f) based in Zagreb. The candidate will be in charge of the following activities: - Record keeping of all events related to the funds - Performing daily accounting, transactional and administrative activities for the Company - Monitoring of all accounting registrations - Registration and posting of incoming invoices - Preparation of financial statements and financial reports - Reporting to the Croatian financial authorities and to the tax administration - Budgeting - Reporting for the Group's finance data-base - Registration and posting of transactions in financial instruments (cash, securities, etc.) - Reconciliation of funds accounts (bank and custody accounts) vs NAV evidences - Fund unit price calculation supervision - Supervising registration and posting of issuance and redemption of the Company's mutual funds units - Interaction with depository bank - Liaising with the Company's auditor

Required Experience - At least 5 years in the field Competencies Required - Organizational, systematic and analytical skills - Teamwork and good relationship skills - Experience in supervising small teams - Excellent problem anticipating and solving capabilities - High proactivity - Able to work under strict deadlines - Willingness for new skills and further skills improvement - Master of economics (university diploma) - Accounting or audit background - Experience and knowledge of financial statements - Advanced knowledge of MS Office - Mutual funds industry knowledge; - Fluent English and Croatian, Italian is a plus
