Hi - my name is Brett and I'm part of the leadership team at Inspiration Commerce Group (ICG). We've grown from $0 to double-digit millions in revenue in under 12 months, and we're now looking for our first Manager, Business Operations (BizOps) to join us as we continue to scale. This job description is rather long, but we're strong believers in sharing as much information as we can to make sure that you can make an informed decision on if we are the right fit for you (and in the interview process we will expect the same in return!).
About this role:
We are looking for a Manager, Business Operations (BizOps) to work across our global portfolio of businesses. In this role you will lead projects of all sizes, working together with leadership to identify, structure, and act on the most challenging strategic & operational questions that impact our business today. Whether it’s helping to build a new team from scratch, leading a Monthly Business Review meeting, optimizing our Payroll process or rebuilding our Collections workflow, you’ll be ready to jump in, find problems, recommend solutions and then bring them to life.
This is a full-time, hybrid role with an expectation of some travel throughout the year. Our Croatian team gets together regularly in Split, and ideally you are able to spend some time in the office as well.
What you will do:
- Lead Cross-Functional Projects: Identify and drive high-impact initiatives across different functions (e.g., Finance, HR, Product, Marketing). Sometimes you’ll be leading a project with various team members, and other times you’ll be working independently.
- Optimize Operational Processes: Improve key workflows across all teams to enhance efficiency and scalability. Design processes and tools to make teams more productive and effective.
- Develop and Track KPIs: Build dashboards and reporting systems to monitor business performance. Conduct deep dives into operational data and identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement.
- Support M&A Integration: Collaborate on the integration of newly acquired businesses by aligning processes, systems, and operations with ICG standards.
- Identify and Solve Operational Issues: Proactively find gaps or inefficiencies in how things are done. Recommend solutions and take ownership of implementation.
- Contribute to Strategic Planning: Partner with leadership to shape ICG’s strategic direction by gathering data, presenting insights, and ensuring alignment across functions.
