For our IRONMAN entities in Croatia and Switzerland we are actively looking for a highly motivated, fluent English speaking:
What You’ll Be Doing:
Step into a role where no two days are the same, and your impact is felt far beyond your desk.
You will:
- Day-to-day accounting for our entities in Switzerland and Croatia
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under US GAAP
- Preparation of annual accounts according to Swiss GAAP and Croatia GAAP
- Work with the Senior Manager Accounting for the DACH region and Director EMEA accounting as well as Headquarters’ Finance and Accounting US on all accounting issues relating to Switzerland and Croatia
- Understand event processes and work together with the individual race directors and product owners on analyzing planning procedures, processes, and profitability around country specific events
- Support on any M&A activities in Switzerland and Croatia
- Preparation of budgets and intra-year forecasts
- Assist and submitting of all statutory and tax returns – including VAT
- Liaison with external auditors and tax authorities
- Manage the junior accountant who is focusing on AP

What You Bring to the Team
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just tick boxes, but thrives in our fast-paced, global environment. Ideally, you have:
- Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- Fluency in written and spoken Croatian and English. Knowledge of the French or German language is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a similar accounting position or auditing
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be extremely diligent about working with international colleagues at all levels and ensuring that deadlines are always met
- Ability to manage diversity in job responsibilities with precision and accuracy in work
- Must be hands-on, able to multi-task and show proper level of time management
- Excellent skills in MS Office and Finance applications
- Experience in NAVISION and ORACLE NetSuite accounting software and Power BI is an advantage
