Accountant (m/f)

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to take a key role in building and shaping the accounting function from the ground up. This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to go beyond execution, drive improvements, and act as a trusted finance partner to the business. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze production costs, prepare BOM-based cost calculations, and conduct variance analysis - Manage vendor accounts, invoices, and payments, ensuring timely reconciliation - Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including customer invoicing and collections - Maintain the general ledger, post journal entries, and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings - Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and internal management reports - Active cooperation with tax authorities, financial institutions, and auditors (internal, statutory) - Daily cooperation with different departments and specialists within the company and Group - Support audits (internal, statutory, EU) and ensure compliance with Croatian regulations and IFRS - Actively contribute to process improvements and ERP development, including transition to Oracle

Required Qualifications: - Strong understanding of Croatian accounting standards and IFRS - Experience with end-to-end accounting processes - ERP user (Oracle or Pantheon is a strong advantage) - Proactive mindset with ability to work independently and take ownership - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Experience working in an international environment is a plus
