ReversingLabs is looking for a tech writer to significantly improve the way we communicate with our users. The person in this role will shape the support communications channel and be responsible for writing manuals and procedures our customers rely upon to do their work. Strong English skills are a must and person needs to have basic technical skills such as using MS suite of products for documents editing, using the web browser to interact with REST APIs and appliance front ends. In addition, the person needs to be able to learn to use Linux based terminal to be able to interact with appliances and ReST APIs.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with experienced developers and QA engineers on projects
- Write technical manuals by collaborating with development team leads and QA
- Take screenshots and simple graphics to enhance the manuals
- Collaborate with creative team to enhance manuals
- Interact with REST API and Appliances via Linux shells
Potrebno obrazovanje, znanja i vještine
Required skills:
- Highly proficient in both spoken and written English
- Good technical skills with browsers
- Ability to create simple graphics and capture screen shots
- Ability to learn to use Linux terminal
- Attention to details
Experience:
- B.S. or M.S. degree in related field
