ReversingLabs QA Manager / Team Lead is responsible for the quality ReversingLabs products. A list of products ranges from API to hardware appliances:
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the quality of HTTP based APIs and feeds that give access to the RL Threat Intelligence Database
- Responsible for the quality of RL appliances - A1000, N1000, T1000
- Responsible for QA process including documentation of test plans and test cases
- Responsible for automation of manual QA tests
- Responsible for installation and maintenance of automated system
- Responsible for regression, manual and automated
- Must cooperate with the Development and DevOps teams as part of a Continuous Integration loop
- Execute manual and automated tests, and identify actionable bugs quickly
- Manage QA coverage of multiple mobile based projects
- Planning / Organizing necessary test passes, staying on top of all important issues, help triaging bugs and issues driving this resolutions and keeping everyone aware of QA status
- Work with different teams (Eng / PM / Operation) to collect necessary information to assure the QA coverage, and also provide feedback on quality issues
- Work with onsite and offshore team to set their priorities and remove their roadblocks to make sure sufficient coverage is done for the release
- Assess the status of the release, and help make sure that the release goes out on time with high quality level
- Create and support test dashboard / report
Potrebno obrazovanje, znanja i vještine
- 5+ years of experience as a QA team lead or manager
- Experience with Linux operating system (Debian / Ubuntu)
- Experience with automating tasks (Puppet, Chef)
- Organized and process oriented
- Able to use scripting language (Python preferably)
- Able to choose, install and run automated test system
- Ability to construct test cases quickly and get them prioritized based on changes.
- Deep knowledge of test and tool development methodology.
- Passion about and ability to deliver high quality features and end-to-end scenarios.
- Proficient in at least of the common coding language. Java and / or PHP preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, including development of effective presentations.
