We are currently looking for a Power Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team in Zagreb, Croatia!
As a member of Vertiv’s Single Phase UPS team in Zagreb, you will be a part of a team of competent and collaborative colleagues, working on innovative projects in a stimulating workplace, where you will be able to develop your skills and expertise. Help us to ensure that our products meet high design, development, and production quality. Participate in the product development process from start to finish. Based on market requirements, you will prepare engineering specifications. Using simulation, development and design tools, you will work to develop power converters and inverters according to specifications in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
What kind of work will you be doing?
- Development and design of power converters based on GaN, SiC and Si Mosfet technologies
- Development and design of control electronics
- Selection of power converter components
- Analysis and application of control methods for power converters
- Cooperation with teams from the fields of electronics, mechanical engineering, software and testing
- Preparation of technical specifications
- Defining test plans, specifications and procedures
- Design validation
- Participation in FMEA method and analyses
- Cooperation and support to production, users and suppliers
- Support to hardware and test engineers
- Active participation in conducting experimental tests
- Design optimization in accordance with market requirements
Vrsta poslaStalni radni odnos
Potrebno obrazovanje, znanja i vještine
- Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering with a focus on power electronics
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Experience in development of power converters
- Independent and advanced experience in PLECS and LTSpice simulation tools
- Advanced knowledge of power electronics and analog-digital electronics
- Ability to work in PCB development tools (Altium or Mentor)
- Experience in UPS development is an advantage
