About the job:
Senior / Crew Officer shall handle key account(s) of crewing operations of assigned vessels and assist the reporting manager as required
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly plans with the Crew Operations Manager for a crew change
- Liaise with Master/agents for a crew change, Vessel ETA, ETB to Plan crew change
- Review monthly OPEX budget and providing comments for spending
- Send weekly crew change plan onboard to stagger the crew change
- Liaise with Agents for cost PDA procedures and make sure the vessel doesn’t get delayed
- Liaise with Crewing Assistants on Pre-Joining formalities
- Ensuring all courses are completed as per company training Matrix
- In case of courses not done till the last moment liaise with the fleet manager for the waivers in order to embark the crew
- Handle onboard grievances of the crew for relief with Crew Operations Manager, getting approvals on the contract extensions for the crew
- Keep update on vessel Flag state documents ensuring all documents are connected well on time to avoid remark in Port state and other Inspections
- Ensuring all documents onboard are fully compliant
- Booking for Domestic, International & Charter Flights
- Settling the pre-joining claims of the crew onboard
- Handle medical cases and open P&I cases liaising with the club to provide all necessary information also keep a follow up the P&I representative visits the crew
- Assist Crew Operations Manager in costing and budgeting for crewing purposes
- Any other task assigned by reporting manager
