We are seeking a driven and experienced Outbound Sales Executive to join our client's expanding team. Our client, a pioneering company with headquarters in Europe, the USA, and Africa, operates in the data analytics and forecasting industry. They specialise in producing globally consistent and reliable forecast data on consumer demand, utilising advanced data science techniques. Their insights are critical for businesses, particularly in FMCG, retail, and financial services sectors, supporting informed decisions on market potential and sustainability goals.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of client acquisition efforts, utilising phone calls and digital tools to engage with potential clients and secure new business opportunities. Responsibilities
a. Lead Generation & Outreach
- Drive outbound sales through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to support company growth.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
- Follow up with prospects quickly and effectively to maximize conversions.
b. Sales Execution
- Work towards (and exceed) sales targets through strategic initiatives.
- Deliver impactful pitches and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Act as a trusted partner by understanding client challenges and positioning World Data Lab’s solutions accordingly.
c. Collaboration & Client Relationships
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to improve outreach and campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, ensuring a great experience throughout the sales cycle.
- Coordinate smooth handovers with account managers for seamless onboarding.
d. Reporting & Insights
- Track and report on individual sales performance regularly.
- Share feedback and insights to refine sales strategies and processes.
- Contribute to improving outbound sales tactics and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in outbound sales or a related role with B2B clients.
- Preferably, experience in sales functions within Software/SaaS companies.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in using LinkedIn and other digital tools for lead generation.
- Fluency in English (C1 level) is mandatory; additional languages are advantageous.
