Opis posla
We are looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer / DevOps to join our team on an ongoing project for our international client in the finance industry. The project will focus on supporting the development teams with deploying and testing applications related to payment systems, in collaboration with other teams.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and advise on cloud solutions throughout the project cycle (POC, design, implementation, testing, IT operations) using WS VPC, AWS Network firewall, Fargate, ALB, NLB, API Gateway, Elasticache, WAF, Route53, Lambda, EKS, RDS and Cognito among others
- Document requirements and implement them with an agile approach using Jira and Confluence (prototyping, MVP, continuous (self) reflection, etc.)
- Operate following DevOps principles (Security from the Start, Guilt-Free Culture, Automation, CICD, Measure Everything, etc.) with AWS Codebuild and CodeDeploy, Azure DevOps pipelines, Spinnaker, Jenkins/Jules
- Construct IT infrastructures using infrastructure as code principles with Terraform and increase system configurability and reliability

What we are looking for in an AWS Cloud Engineer / DevOps is:
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields
- Experience in implementing network infrastructure and services on cloud providers, preferably AWS, using technologies such as Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Terraform, CI/CD tools, Confluence and Jira
- Good working knowledge of English
- Strong communication skills
- Team player
- Critical thinking and proactive mindset
