Accounting Specialist (m/f)

As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our presence and are currently looking for a new team member to join our newly opened office in Zagreb (Buzin) in the role of Accounting Specialist, responsible for the Croatian market. Key Responsibilities: - Full bookkeeping for the Croatian entity (GL, AP, AR, bank, fixed assets, etc.), including tax accounting for VAT and CIT purposes - Preparation of VAT and CIT returns in cooperation with an external accounting company - External reporting (Intrastat, recycling, packaging, and others) - Participation in the preparation of statutory financial statements - Ensuring timely closing of accounts - Participation in internal reporting processes - Supporting the Finance Manager and Finance Director in ensuring clear and accurate information flow to HQ

Position profile: - At least 3 years of experience in accounting and 1 year in a similar role - University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field - Good knowledge of Croatian tax and accounting legislation (an advantage) - Experience in the preparation of statutory financial statements (an advantage) - Experience supporting statutory audits - Upper-intermediate level of English - SAP (FI module) user experience - Strong MS Office skills, particularly advanced Excel - Business-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail - Advanced Croatian language skills
