Tax Consultant

Continuous expansion has created opportunities for Tax Consultant professionals in our Zagreb office. You may be involved in tax structuring, mergers and acquisitions and daily consulting of the clients. Responsibilities: - supervise staff, prepare tax advice and resolve tax research issues - demonstrate ability to manage junior tax staff and ensure deliverables meet quality specifications and deadlines - grasp technical concepts swiftly and be able to discuss them clearly and confidently with the client - ensure team roles and responsibilities are defined recognizing peoples abilities and developmental needs - seek to gain experience outside the normal tax field and can apply that experience to his/her clients - present a professional appearance and style - understand process and focuses on quality service

Key Requirements: - 4 or more years of tax experience required - in-depth knowledge of Croatian tax system - relevant experience with a bookkeeping company, tax authorities or international firm - strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise 2-3 staff - advanced computer capabilities - willingness to travel within Croatia throughout the year to serve our clients - fluent in reading and writing business English or German - strong professional background and broad business & technical knowledge Education Requirements: - university degree - professional accreditation (Croatian licensed tax advisor) desired, but not necessary If you meet the above qualifications and are interested in this opportunity, email your resume in Word format to: tpa-horwath@tpa-horwath.hr
