As the Front Office Manager you will be accountable to:
- Responsibility for guest satisfaction at the front office and in the rooms area.
- Ensure that the Rooms Brand Standards are implemented and adhered to.
- Organize, monitor and adjust all front desk operations as needed.
- Working all shifts and assisting with guest arrivals and departures.
- Undertakes Manager on Duty responsibilities.
- If necessary, is responsible for booking out hotel guests.
- If required, managing a cash register and carrying out the cash closing with all associated responsibilities.
- Monitoring and maintaining the hotel lobby and reception area in terms of cleanliness and tidiness.
- Carrying out professional complaint management.
- Ensuring correct data entry and maintenance in the property management and reservation system.
- Close cooperation with housekeeping, i.e. regular checks of rooms and VIP arrivals.
- Ensures that all guest requests are entered in the logbook and the guest profile in PMS and forwards guest complaints to the duty manager for follow-up.
