Cost Controller (m/f)

Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, cost baselines, and financial reports - Monitor and analyze actual vs. planned costs, identifying and reporting variances - Support earned value management (EVM) and performance tracking - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to ensure cost transparency and accuracy - Prepare cost reports, variance analyses, and cash flow projections - Conduct quantity surveying and verification of subcontractor invoice - Ensure compliance with corporate governance and international cost engineering standards - Support project in change management and risk analysis

Qualifications & Competencies - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or equivalent professional experience - Proven experience in cost control, project controls, or financial analysis - Familiarity with project management concepts such as Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), project reporting, and cost control techniques is preferred but not essential - Strong analytical and numerical skills - Motivation to learn AACEI/PMI methodologies and pursue certifications (e.g., CCT – Certified Cost Technician) - Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English Additional Information: This position is based at our home office in Rijeka.
