This position reports to Procurement Manager.
Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development.

This role is contributing to the Process Industries Division in Zagreb.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Executing purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.
- Designing and implementing plans for sourcing to meet Europe level business targets and collaborating with vendors. Supporting global sourcing initiatives as required.
- Providing support for sales activities within procurement operations on a project basis.
- Applying and implementing procurement standards, tools, and processes to ensure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability; supporting in implementing effective local sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to meet current and future business requirements.
- Creating and updating reports following ABB standards; executing and implementing new directions within the area of responsibility.
- Applying standards on health, safety, environment, and business ethics in operational work, contract management, and negotiations; delivering and participating in training programs for compliance and professional development.
- Executing effective and transparent communication internally, externally, and between different units and centers; standardizing processes and implementing routines as per Group directives/instructions.
