Opis posla
We are looking for a versatile Administrative and Financial Project Manager. The Administrative and Financial Project Manager will be responsible for the successful planning, implementation, and monitoring of EU/national and other research or commercial projects (ESIF, NPOO, Horizon Europe, etc.). This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and a deep understanding of EU project framework. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing multi-partner projects and possess excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Workplace: CoE MARBLE - Centre of Excellence in Maritime Robotics and Technologies for Sustainable Blue Economy, Froudeova ulica 13, 10000 Zagreb
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of EU/national and other research/commercial projects (NPOO, ESIF, Horizon Europe, etc.)
- Coordinate with consortium partners to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget
- Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring compliance with project regulations and guidelines
- Prepare and submit project reports and deliverables
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including researchers, industry partners, and policymakers
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
- Represent projects at meetings, conferences, and other relevant events
- Ensure effective dissemination and exploitation of project results

Candidates’ profile:
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Business Administration, Science, Engineering)
- Proven experience in managing NPOO, ESIF, Horizon Europe, and similar EU-funded projects and/or national, research or commercial projects
- Strong understanding of the EU framework
- Excellent project management skills
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Experience in preparing and submitting reports
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred qualifications:
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, PM2)
- Driver’s licence: B category
- Experience in multidisciplinary environments
