As we continue to expand, we are looking to hire two Travel Coordinators to join our growing operations office in Split. As a company we deal with thousands of clients and therefore we are looking to hire someone who is experienced in working in a very busy office environment and has a strong multi-tasking ability.
What the role involves
The day to day role involves working within our Split based operations team and carrying out the following duties:
- Processing bookings from American, British, Australian and Canadian clients into our systems
- Booking hotels for our guests and making sure all details are correctly communicated to the hotel
- Speaking to our local guides about private tours our guests are looking to do
- Booking catamaran tickets and entrances to various national parks
- Liaising with transfer companies and ensuring we send them accurate information
- Ensuring that the CRM system, reservations system and other portals we use are kept up to date
- Working closely with the finance team to ensure that supplier invoices are paid by deadlines set
- Booking restaurants for our clients
- Finalizing and checking travel documents ahead of our clients travel
- Communicating effectively with clients to obtain self booked flights and other pre-departure information that is required to finalise their documents
- Dealing with emergency phone calls, if clients have any issues whilst on their holiday
- Preparing merchandise & welcome packs for clients
- Greeting clients when they arrive in respective ports
- Delivering our merchandise in Split area on daily basis (hotels, post office, etc.)
- Helping with various tasks outside of office and meeting clients for emergencies (personal car required)
- Being a key part of the team and helping your colleagues deliver a busy season
