We are seeking for a IT Engineer, to oversee and manage the day-to-day IT operations of Printec Croatia, ensuring that the entity is aligned effectively with Group IT strategies, policies, and standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a compliant IT environment, enhancing and enforcing security measures, ensuring business continuity, and facilitating technology advancements within the company.
Responsibilities
Infrastructure and Operations Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize local IT environment to meet performance, scalability, security and general internal and customer SLA requirements.
- Act as the SPOC for all IT related matters within the country and liaise with Group IT for support and guidance.
- Implement and oversee local IT infrastructure services, ensuring they meet the country's specific needs while adhering to Group IT's standards.
- Facilitate the execution of both local-driven and Group-driven IT changes, ensuring minimal disruptions and effective integration.
- Collaborate with local and Group teams to develop and maintain the architecture and technology roadmap aligned with Group IT's directives.
- Identify and leverage new technologies to propose and provide optimized technology infrastructure solutions for the country.
- Administer local IT procurement activities (i.e. hardware, software etc) and vendor relationships for IT-related services.
- Manage and oversee the local IT budget, including forecasting, planning, and tracking expenditures.
- Maintain and oversee the local server infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, performance, and security.
- Manage local storage solutions, including backups, data retention, and disaster recovery plans.
- Implement proactive maintenance and monitoring solutions to prevent system and service outages.
To fulfill User and Business Unit Requests in a timely and compliant manner
- Provide hands-on technical support to users and business units within the country.
- Collaborate with Group and local teams to understand their IT needs and proactively identify and communicate opportunities for improvement.
- Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets and equipment within the country.
- Perform configuration and setup of hardware and software for users and business units, ensuring optimal performance
To implement the action plan in the local entity and ensuring compliance with the Group Information Security Framework and the local legislative and regulatory requirements pertaining to information security.
- Ensure compliance with the Information Security Framework at local level and the legal and regulatory requirements and identify, report to the GISL and address potential deviations;
- Localize information security standards, procedures and guidelines as required;
- Define and coordinate the implementation of security requirements with designated points of contact during new business cases;
- Review and enforce access control mechanisms and policies;
- Assess, monitor and control information security risks related to third parties engaged or operating with the local or regional entity;
- Enhance local business continuity plans and processes to minimize downtime and data loss during disruptions.
- Collaborate with GISL to conduct information security risk assessments and other types of security assessments (i.e. vulnerability assessment, penetration testing etc.) and monitor risk mitigation strategies and risk treatment plans;
- Be aware of training needs and be involved in designing information awareness campaigns in line with the security strategy and GISL’s direction;
- Support and assist end-users whenever required in order to comply with the InformationSecurity Framework;
Develop and communicate metrics and reports on a regular basis to all relevant parties (reports and metrics may include IT Infrastructure Health Report, Status of ongoing IT projects and their progress, IT Budget Report, Remediation actions taken to address security vulnerabilities, Inventory and Asset Management Report etc).
