Technical Structural Supervisor (m/f)

The Technical supervisor, structural expert is responsible for coordination of building services and on site implementation of the structural construction design. Under the direction of the EMEA Construction manager, this employee will work as a: - Supervisor or lead to Vertiv/contractor’s structural assembly team - Employee will share feed beck information after project handover to his manager, design team, assembly plant team and execution team to improve Vertiv project execution performance - Employee would constantly train and improve knowledge and skill level - Technical and organizational setup of execution part of project, manage method of statements, technical analysis, scope analysis, QA/QC process - Main goal is to use every piece of knowledge, skill and expertise to dive project execution phase to maximum Responsibilities: - Project investigation and participation during factory assembly process - FAT presence and help to the commissioning team - Getting acquainted to the project technical solutions - Technical analysis of the tender documents and the contractual scope - Consulting the design team during a design phase of the project - Lead and manage contractors at the final assembly site - Responsible to implement and follow QC procedures - Approving a contractor material and hourly rates costs - Promote a working environment that encourages sub-contractor involvement to achieve excellence in productivity, customer service, quality, inventory management and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)

Education & Certifications: - High school degree in technical field with strong technical competencies Requirements: - At least 3 years of experience in installation work as foreman, supervisor or controller of which at least 1 in data center or telecom or related - English language min. A2 level - Basic computer skills - Manages multiple projects/tasks simultaneously. Demonstrates ability to plan, set priorities, organizes and coordinates work with other participants - Effectively communicates technical information to construction team - Demonstrates professionalism (e.g., cooperation, courtesy, assertiveness, and non-defensiveness, accepting constructive criticism, and maintaining confidences) - Effectively handles stressful situations (resolving conflicts and meeting deadlines). - Accepting cultural differences and different work environment anywhere in EMEA region - Accepting flexible work hours, and willingness to travel Additional information: - 50 % travel required - 2-5 years experience
