Junior DevOps Engineer (m/f)

Due to the increase of business in Split, we are looking for a motivated and proactive person for the position: Junior DevOps Engineer (m/f). We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to support the development, automation and maintenance of our infrastructure and deployment processes. This role is ideal for someone with around 1 year of experience who wants to grow in the DevOps field and gain hands-on experience in CI/CD, cloud environments and system automation. You will work closely with development and senior DevOps engineers to ensure reliable deployments, system stability and continuous improvement of our infrastructure. Ultimately, you will contribute to building stable, secure and scalable environments that support our software development lifecycle. Responsibilities: - Assist in maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines - Support infrastructure maintenance in cloud and/or on-premise environments - Help automate repetitive tasks and deployment processes - Monitor system performance and assist in troubleshooting issues - Collaborate with development teams to support smooth releases - Assist in container management (e.g. Docker-based environments) - Participate in documenting infrastructure and operational processes - Learn and apply DevOps best practices

Qualifications: - 1+ year of experience in DevOps, System Administration, Software Engineering, or a similar role - Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts - Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems - Familiarity with scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar) - Understanding of networking fundamentals - Strong willingness to learn and develop in the DevOps domain Desirable, but not essential: - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - Familiarity with Docker or container technologies - Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) - Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
