Design Structural Engineer (m/f)

Due to the expanding needs of our business, we are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our Design team in Zagreb or Rijeka. Structural Engineer develops design of structural project documentation to satisfy all required inputs and requirements and to produce safe, reliable, functional and economical construction. Responsibilities: - Developing of project conceptual and detailed design - Based on input data (information, requirements, standards), development of structural project documentation: static calculations, dynamic calculations, structural 3D model design, detail drawings, descriptions, instructions, material submittals, presentations and marketing materials etc. - During design follow and take into consideration international, national and company standards and good engineering practices - Use knowledge and experience to fulfill requirements given by project tasks - Participating in kick-off meeting, regular project team meetings, and on-site coordination meetings - Reporting project status to Project Team Leader - Proactive cooperation with all team members during project execution - Initiating RFI („Request for Information“) in cases where additional clarification is needed - Development of defined documents according to Document list (DLIST) - Development of workshop documentation - Verification and approval of workshop documentation developed by subcontractors - Specifying Bill of Material and services required for project execution - Specification of necessary certificates for materials needed to be ordered - Supporting suppliers with additional information during bidding phase of sourcing (offer submitting) - Providing technical approval for received supplier offers - Providing technical support to subcontractors and installers during production/assembly - Cooperation with Manufacturing and Site deployment engineering team - Cooperation with Site Manager during assembly, providing technical solutions to raised issues - Cooperation with Quality Control during quality control of components/systems and assembly on Site - Cooperation with Commissioning engineer on testing documentation development - Participation on internal testing and FAT

Qualifications: - Education – structural engineer - English language – fluent - Software – Tekla, Revit, AutoCAD, Robot, SCIA Engineer, IDEA StatiCa, MS Office - Other skills – independent, attention to details, problem solving, organization, creativity, team work
