EMEA Compliance Manager (m/f)

We are currently looking for EMEA Compliance Manager to join our Global Compliance Team in: - Zagreb, Croatia As EMEA Compliance Manager you will ensure organization functions are in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies. You will be responsible for organization and implementation of compliance audits; perform or manage daily compliance risk identification, inspection, and reporting. You will also develop and implement preventative measures and internal controls.  What kind of work will you be doing? - Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies  - Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously  - Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues  - Draft, modify and implement company policies  - Serves as Data Protection Officer (DPO) for GDPR - Collaborate with corporate counsels and company departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations  - Assess the business’s future ventures to identify possible compliance risks  - Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training  - Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control  - Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate

What will make you successful? - BA/BS in law, finance, business administration or related field  - 3+ years of experience as a compliance officer, manager, or related position  - Excellent leadership skills  - In-depth knowledge of standards and regulations  - Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping  - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal  - Certified compliance professional is a plus
