We are looking for a highly skilled Embedded Systems Tester to support the testing and validation of embedded systems for the railway domain. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test plans to verify the functionality, performance, and safety of our embedded products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, to ensure that all systems meet stringent railway industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute test plans for embedded systems used in railway applications, focusing on safety, performance, and reliability
- Automation: Implement and maintain automated test scripts for embedded systems, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing
- Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects and issues through the entire testing life cycle, collaborating with development teams to resolve them
- System Validation: Perform rigorous functional, performance, and integration testing on embedded devices, such as signaling systems, train control systems, and communication protocols
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure all systems are tested in compliance with industry standards, such as EN 50126/8/9, and other railway safety standards
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing improvement of testing methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance test efficiency and system reliability
- Documentation: Provide comprehensive documentation of test results, including test cases, defect logs, and test reports
