Reporting to the Technical Team Lead, the Backend Python Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining backend systems that power our web-based applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable and secure backend services using Python
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate frontend components with backend APIs
- Implement RESTful APIs for communication between frontend and backend systems
- Optimize application performance and scalability through efficient coding and database query optimization
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews and testing
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth functioning of backend systems
- Stay updated on emerging backend technologies and best practices

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development with Python
- Solid understanding of backend development principles and best practices
- Experience with database technologies such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Effective communication skills and ability to work under pressure
