Job description: - development and execution of FEM simulations for electromagnetic design of transformers - analysis of leakage field distributions and their impact on losses in transformers - multiphysics coupling of electromagnetic and thermal simulations - electromagnetic calculations for internal projects in the Laboratory Center - analysis of measured data - validation of FEM models through comparison with experimental and field measurements - collaboration with design and testing teams to optimize transformer designs

Potrebno obrazovanje, znanja i vještine

Job requirements: - Master’s in Electrical Engineering - 2+ years of working experience in similar field of work - knowledge of numerical simulations (FEM) - fundamentals of electrical and electromechanical engineering - working knowledge of English language Good to know: - knowledge of commercial software packages for numerical (multiphysics) simulation, such as: Simcenter ELECNET and MAGNET (Infolytica), Ansys, FEMM, etc. - knowledge of MATLAB or similar software - knowledge of commercial software packages for electromagnetic transient simulations: EMTP - knowledge of measurement techniques and measuring instruments - knowledge of high-voltage design, materials and measurements - knowledge of C# or Python at a basic level
