Fleet Personnel Officer (m/f) works at the Crewing department, with the core business of recruiting carefully selected, qualified, experienced, and medically fit Seafarers from South East Europe for the Company's vessels.
His/her main job is connected with Seafarers’ embarkations/disembarkations/sea service on Company’s vessels.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting with vessel’s planning requirements
- Checking the medical status of all seafarers and arranging medical appointments
- Updating seafarers’ personnel files in dedicated software (mandatory certificates, licenses, etc.)
- Ensuring that seafarers have all of the required ‘valid’ documents for their intended contract
- Coordinating with the training department on any specific seafarer training
- Applying for Flag State Endorsements
- Local briefings of seafarers prior to embarkation
- Preparing Seafarers Contracts (SEA’s) in compliance with regulations and procedures
- Handling seafarers’ travel arrangements
- Debriefing seafarers on completion of their contracts and providing feedback
- Applying CMA Ships policies & procedures
